This playful, narrative-based learning experience is part of the LEGO Learning System and encourages students to investigate STEAM concepts while contributing to literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Whats Included

The set includes:

  • A Small Hub, which is a programmable control unit that can connect to Lego sensors and motors. It has two input/output ports, a six-axis gyro sensor, a button with a light indicator, and Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

  • Two Small Motors, which can be used to power Lego models and make them move. They can be controlled by the Small Hub and the coding app.

  • A Color Sensor, which can detect colors and light intensity. It can be used to create interactive models and games with the Small Hub and the coding app.

  • A 3x3 Color Light Matrix, which can display different colors and patterns. It can be used to create expressive models and animations with the Small Hub and the coding app.

  • 449 Lego bricks, including tracks, figures, and accessories. They can be used to build various models and scenarios that support the STEAM lessons.

  • A durable storage box with color-coded sorting trays for easy classroom management.
    The set also comes with a free app that features icon- and word-based coding based on Scratch. The app helps students develop their coding skills and create programs for their models. The set also offers five units of eight STEAM lessons, each with online lesson plans, math and language arts extensions, assessment rubrics, and videos.
